Let the River Flow is a protest, a cry to end oppression and speak out against injustice and inequality. The song speaks to issues that have permeated throughout history, such as racism and discrimination and its aim is to continue the conversation that was sparked by the Black Lives Matter movement. It was written in the spirit of anti-racism and hopes to remind people that we are all human, we all have a story, we all have a name, and we all must do our part to change the systems and attitudes ingrained within society that contribute to subjugation and injustice. Let the River Flow is a song about coming together, speaking up, and fighting for what you believe in.
